简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of producing a B-C-N-O fluorescent material that contains neither a rare-earth element nor a heavy metal, wherein carbon monoxide is prevented from being produced. SOLUTION : The method of producing a B-C-N-O fluorescent material includes at least : a step of preparing a phosphor precursor by mixing a boric acid and/or a boric acid derivative with a nitrogen-containing polymer compound having decomposition temperature of 200°C or larger and thereafter by making the mixture go through a pyrolysis step; and a step of burning the phosphor precursor under an oxidation atmosphere.
