PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a compressor that has demagnetization strength even when the amount of Dy (dysprosium) contained in a rare earth magnet for use in an electric motor is reduced.
SOLUTION : A compressor relating to the present invention comprises a compression element for compressing a coolant, and a sextupole electric motor that drives the compression element and that has a rotor using a neodymium rare earth magnet including iron, neodymium, boron and 2 wt.% or less of dysprosium.
