PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a new osmic(VI) acid salt fixed to magnetic nanoparticles and usable in dihydroxylation reaction of olefins.SOLUTION : The osmic(VI) acid salt fixed to magnetic nanoparticles is obtained by substituting at least one of three R-O- groups bonded to Si of an osmic(VI) acid salt expressed by formula (I) with O in the magnetic nanoparticle [in the formula, Rand Rare each a hydrocarbon group; s and u are each an integer of ≥0; t is 0 or 1 provided that at least one of s, u and t is not 0; Ris a group expressed e.g. by formula (II) (in the formula, Ris a hydrocarbon group; n is an integer of ≥1; and at least two of d, e and f are 1 and the remainder is 0)]. |
