PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an oxide crystal usable for a neutron scintillator which is excellent in transparency, highly sensitive to neutron rays and small in background noises originated from γ-rays. SOLUTION : To solve the problem, an oxide crystal or the like is employed for the neutron scintillator, which has either structural formula among formulae shown by following (1) to (6), and10B content thereof is ≥0.5 atom/nm3.
