FIELD : metallurgy.SUBSTANCE : claimed process comprises production of goethite dephosphorised concentrate by thermal processing of iron-bearing material and removal therefrom of phosphorus-bearing material. Note here that a pulsed skin-heating of oolites to over 350°C is performed.
