PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To abate the recovery cost of a recovery method of platinum group metals and rare earth metals.SOLUTION : The provided recovery method of platinum group metals and rare earth metals includes an acid dissolution step (S10) of immersing a treatment target into an acid solution capable not only of dissolving platinum group metals and rare earth metals but also of forming a metal salt soluble with an ionic liquid so as to dissolve the treatment target into the acid solution, an artificial zeolite adsorption step (S12) of immersing, within the acid solution, an artificial zeolite capable of selectively adsorbing platinum group metals so as to induce the selective adsorption of the platinum group metals, an artificial zeolite desorption step (S14) of inducing the desorption of the platinum group metals into an aqueous electrolytic solution from the artificial zeolite, a platinum group metal electrolytic deposition step (S16) of inducing the electrolytic deposition of the platinum group metals, a rare earth metal salt synthesis step (S18) of synthesizing rare earth metal salts from the acid solution following the recovery therefrom of the platinum group metals, and a rare earth metal electrolytic deposition step (S20) of inducing the electrolytic deposition of rare earth metals by dissolving the rare earth metal salts into an ionic liquid. |
