This outer covering for a lithium-ion cell comprises a laminate body obtained by laminating an adhesive layer, a surface-preparation layer, an aluminum foil layer, a corrosion-prevention-treatment layer, an adhesive resin layer, and a sealant layer in that order on one surface of a substrate layer. The surface-preparation layer contains a component (A), a component (B), and a component (C), all described below. The total amount of components (B) and (C) in relation to 100 mass parts of component (A) is 200-12000 mass parts. (A) : A crosslinked resin formed from a resin (A1) having at least two nitrogen-containing functional groups, and a resin (A2) having reactive functional groups that react with the nitrogen-containing functional groups. (B) : A rare-earth oxide. (C) : Phosphoric acid or phosphoric acid salt. |
