PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth magnet which is suppressed in the high-temperature demagnetization rate even when the usage amount of heavy rare earth element such as Dy and Tb is remarkably reduced more than before or the heavy rare earth element is not used.
SOLUTION : A rare earth element includes R2T14B main phase crystal grain 1 and a two-grain grain boundary phase 2 between two R2T14B main phase crystal grains adjacent to each other, thickness of the two-grain grain boundary phase 2 is 5 nm or more and 500 nm or less, and the two-grain grain boundary phase 2 is controlled so as to be composed of a phase having magnetism different from ferromagnetic substance.
