PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a semiconductor ceramic composition which is a barium titanate-based semiconductor ceramic composition having the same performance as conventional ceramic compositions using rare earth elements even when rare earth elements are not added to the barium titanate-based semiconductor ceramic composition.
SOLUTION : A semiconductor ceramic composition has a main component represented by a composition formula of (1-x)(BaaMe1-a)TiO3-xBi(Zn, Ti)O3, where a is 0.4950≤a≤0.9500, Me is any one kind of Sr or Ca or 2 or more kinds selected from the group consisting of Sr, Ca and Pb, x is 0.0050≤x≤0.0070 when Me is Sr or 2 or more kinds selected from the group consisting of Sr, Ca and Pb and x is 0.0080≤x≤0.0100 when Me is Ca.
