The purpose of the present invention is to provide an artificial vegetated island using floatable light-weighted soil, which can prevent dredged soil from being dumped at sea, can be eco-friendly by recycling dredged soil, can improve a vegetation environment of aquatic plants, and can be constructed by being connected with other structures such as fish reef; and a method for constructing the artificial vegetated island. To achieve the above purpose, the present invention provides an artificial vegetated island comprising a floatable vegetation floating body formed of mixed soil containing earth and sand; buoyancy reinforcing members provided on the floating body to increase buoyancy of the floating body; a planting means provided in the floating body to plant aquatic plants; and a fixing means configured to fix the floating body at the right position, and also provides a method for constructing the artificial vegetated island, comprising a slurry forming step of mixing at least one of dredging sand and surplus soil with a solidifying agent and additives to form slurry; a slurry curing step of putting the slurry into a mold with a port frame for forming planting holes where aquatic plants are to be planted, and curing the slurry; a floating body forming step of drying a block separated from the mold to form a floating body; a planting material filling step of filling the planting holes of the floating body with fibered planting materials for planting aquatic plants; a buoyancy reinforcing member arranging step of arranging buoyancy reinforcing members on the floating body to add buoyancy to the floating body; and an anchor block connecting step of connecting fish reef as an anchor block to the floating body.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015 |
