PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a cyclone dust collector for removing dust in air by centrifugal separation, in which both the downsizing of a device and high dust collection efficiency are ensured by suppressing the re-scattering of dust with the adhesion of charged dust to an inner cylinder outside wall surface or an outer cylinder inside wall surface by Coulomb force.
SOLUTION : In a dust collector 1, the charged dust is adhered to both wall surfaces by Coulomb force due to the formation of a potential difference at a space between an inner cylinder outside wall surface 7 connected to a high voltage terminal 9 of an electric source 6 and an outer cylinder inside wall surface 8 connected to an earth terminal 10 of the electric source 6. Thus, the cyclone dust collector in which both the downsizing of a device and high dust collection efficiency are ensured can be provided.
