PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To implement high-definition rare earth magnet material recovery at a high recovery rate when separating the rare earth magnet material from a motor member including a rotor in which a rare earth magnet is integrated, and to significantly simplify work relating to the recovery of the rare earth magnet material.
SOLUTION : A recovery method of a rare earth magnet material 3a for recovering the rare earth magnet material 3a formed by demagnetizing a rare earth magnet 3 from a motor member 1 including a rotor 2 in which the rare earth magnet 3 is integrated includes, with respect to the rotor 2 separated from the motor member 1, deforming the rotor 2 and crushing the rare earth magnet material 3a integrated in the rotor 2, thereby discharging the rare earth magnet material 3a from an end portion of the rotor 2.
