PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a crosslinking agent which can improve water resistance and solvent resistance without lowering the ion exchange capacity of a polymer electrolyte usable in fuel cells and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION : The crosslinking agent includes a protonic acid group and a reactive crosslinking site and is represented by formula (1) (wherein A is a protonic acid group selected from a sulfonic acid group, a phosphonic acid group, a hydroxy group, and a carboxy group; Xand Xare each an elimination group selected from a hydroxy group, an alkoxy group, a tosyl group, and a halogen element; Rand Rare each a connecting group selected from -(CH)-, -O-(CH)-, -S-(CH)-, and -NH-(CH)-; and n is an integer of not less than 1). |
