简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To color a surface of a zirconia-reinforced alumina ceramic lustrous black by surface modification without using a color agent. SOLUTION : A cathode electrode 5A having a prescribed cross sectional area is arranged at an upper side in an airtight chamber 1. An object to be irradiated 6 made of a zirconia-reinforced alumina ceramic is disposed in a position direct under and a prescribed distance d away vertically from the cathode electrode 5A. An inside of the chamber 1 is depressurized, and a prescribed pressure inert gas is supplied into an inside of a circular ring shape anode electrode 5B that is disposed between the cathode electrode 5A and the object to be irradiated 6 to generate plasma. An electric voltage of 20 kV or higher is applied to the cathode electrode 5A and an electric voltage of 1.0 kV or higher is supplied to a solenoid while the plasma is generated in the circular ring in the anode electrode 5B, and a prescribed face to be irradiated of the object to be irradiated 6 is irradiated with an electron beam repeatedly the prescribed number of times.
