The present invention provides a light-emitting element capable of suppressing an increase of driving voltage. Also, the present invention provides a light-emitting device of reducing power consumption by adopting the light-emitting element. The light-emitting element comprises an EL layer between an anode and a cathode; and a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer between the cathode and the EL layer. The first layer is formed between the cathode and the second layer, comes in contact with the cathode and the second layer, and is made of a material having high hole transporting ability and an acceptor material. The second layer is formed between the first layer and the third layer, comes in contact with the first layer and the third layer, and is made of a phthalocyanine-based material. The third layer is formed between the second layer and the EL later, comes in contact with the second layer and the EL layer, and includes alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, rare earth metal, an alkali metal compound, an alkaline earth metal compound, or a rare earth metal compound.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014 |
