PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a fluorescent material which absorbs light or different wavelengths, and then emits the light again.
SOLUTION : There is provided a composition containing an organic polymer matrix, rare-earth metal nano clusters dispersed in the polymer and an antenna ligand arranged outside the rare-earth metal nano clusters, in which the rare-earth metal nano clusters are within a size range of 1 to 100 nm, and the composition contains lanthanide atoms bonded to at least one semimetal or transition metal via an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom.
