The present invention relates to a sculpture clay composition for manufacturing large-sized ceramic ware, a method for manufacturing large-sized ceramic ware using the same and large-sized ceramic ware manufactured thereby. More particularly, the present invention relates to a sculpture clay composition comprising : 100 parts by weight of sculpture clay including fireproof clay, kaolin and alumina; and 1 to 10 parts by weight of a metal oxide coloring agent. Also the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing large-sized ceramic ware using the sculpture clay composition and large-sized ceramic ware manufacture thereby. The large-sized ceramic ware manufactured using the sculpture clay composition according to the present invention can exhibit various colors ranging from faint ivory colors to red, blue and black according to the kind and content of the added metal oxide coloring agent differently from large-sized ceramic ware manufactured using general commercial sculpture clay that exhibits monotonous ivory colors after sintering, and diversifies the development of ceramic sculptures and increases worker convenience as the large-sized ceramic ware does not discolor after sintering at high temperature of 1280° C. Moreover, by manufacturing the large-sized ceramic ware using the sculpture clay composition according to the present invention, a manufacturing process is simplified and thus manufacturing costs are reduced as large-sized ceramic ware with desired color exhibited after sintering can be manufactured without needing to additionally conduct a step for painting color engobe after primary sintering to color a ceramic sculpture.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014 |
