PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electric motor that suppress a torque ripple even when using segment magnets, and to provide its rotor. SOLUTION : The rotor 100 of the electric motor includes a shaft 1 being a rotating shaft, a yoke 2 which is formed at the external periphery of the shaft 1 and rotates integrally with the shaft 1, and a plurality of rare-earth permanent magnets 10 arranged in the circumferential direction of the external periphery of the yoke 2 at equal intervals. The plurality of rare-earth permanent magnets 10 are arranged adjacent to one another at prescribed intervals, and bond magnets 20 are molded at the external periphery of the yoke 2 so as to be integrated with the rare-earth permanent magnets 10.
