Preparing a silane compound of formula (Si nH 2 n + 2) (I) or its mixture, comprises reacting silicide or silicon alloy in the form of powder having a structure of formula (M 1> xM 2> ySi z) (II), in presence of calcium chloride, with hydrochloric acid, which is pre-dissolved in aqueous solution. M 1>a reducing metal; M2 : an alkali or alkaline earth metal; x-z : 0 -1; and n : 1-3. |
