PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet which despite of a small or even vanished content of Dy has a sufficiently high intrinsic coercivity HcJ such that the magnet can be used under temperature conditions which allow the use of the magnet for electric generators of wind turbines, a rotor assembly using the same, an electromechanical transducer, and a wind turbine.
SOLUTION : An Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet (354) including 28-34 weight % of rare earth elements, where the content of the rare earth element Dy is smaller than 0.1 weight %, has a spatial extension (h) parallel to a magnetization direction of the Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet (354) which is larger than 30 mm.
