The present invention relates to a process for lightening keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising the use of one or more metal catalysts chosen from transition metal salts and rare-earth metal salts, and mixtures thereof and a cosmetic composition (I) comprising at least 10% by weight of one or more fatty substances, one or more basifying agents and one or more oxidizing agents. The invention also relates to a multi-compartment device comprising the compositions used. |
