The present invention relates to an organic sulfur sorbent, a preparation method thereof, organic sulfur compound adsorption method in liquid petroleum fraction and a reproducing method of organic sulfur sorbent. The concentration of the organic sulfur compound can be lowered to less than 1 ppm with excellent adsorption selectivity of the organic sulfur compound by containing 0.5-30 wt% of an active ingredient which includes rare earth metals and 70-95.5 wt% of a porous support.
