PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing a sintered magnet in which material yield of an arc-shaped sintered magnet is improved.
SOLUTION : A method for producing a sintered magnet includes : a magnet field molding step in which, by performing press formation of magnetic powder constituting an R-Fe-B sintered magnet containing a rare earth element R having Nd as a main component, the magnetic powder is compressed to form a green compact and magnetic orientation is conducted in the direction parallel to the thickness direction of the green compact; a sintering step in which, under a situation of being heated to the sintering temperature, the green compact is sintered to mold the sintered magnet; and a dimension correction step in which, under the situation of being heated to the temperature not exceeding the sintering temperature, pressing parts 13a, 14a perform pressure molding of the sintered magnet using arc-shaped molds 13, 14, thereby molding the sintered magnet into an arc-shape and correcting dimension of the sintered magnet.
