The present invention relates to a method for preparing a chloride-based or oxide-based phosphor powder, which includes treatment of a chloride-containing silicate-based phosphor with an alkali material, and to a chloride-based or oxide-based phosphor powder prepared by the same. Provided are a phosphor which has the increased light emitting intensity of the phosphor which has rare earth metals added by strong oxidation or reduction using a chloride and is more stably reduced at the relatively low temperature, and a method for preparing the same. |
