A method of thermochemical enrichment treatment of steel parts for increasing both their surface hardness and their fatigue life. It comprises a first step (a) for enriching thermochemical vitalisation at least one of carbon steel, carried out at a temperature at least equal to the temperature of austenitic transformation start ac steel, followed by a second step (c) enrichment thermochemical for enriching the steel at least nitrogen, carried out at a temperature below the limit temperature ica austenitic transformation of the steel, and then a step of (d) re-austensizing steel and quenching (e) of the parts. |
