[Problem] To provide a microchamber chip for cell spreading, with which non-specific adsorption of cells onto surfaces other than a microchamber can be suppressed, and rare cells from a substance containing a large quantity of cells, such as blood, can be stored, maintained and observed without leakage of the rare cells. [Solution] A microchamber chip for cell spreading, in which microchambers (30), which can store and maintain one or more cells, are formed in the upper surface (11) of a substrate (10) in a microchamber chip (20). The upper surface (11) of the microchamber chip (20) and inner wall surfaces (31) of the microchambers (30) are coated with a blocking agent (50) that can suppress non-specific adsorption of cells on the upper surface (11). |
