简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing a rare earth sintered magnet combining excellent Br and HcJ. SOLUTION : The production method comprises : a mixing stage where a first alloy comprising R composed of rare earth elements and T composed of at least one element selected from Fe and Co and a second alloy comprising R and T, and in which the mass ratio of the heavy rare earth elements to the whole R is higher than the first alloy are mixed so as to obtain a mixture essentially consisting of the first alloy; and a firing stage where the mixture is subjected to magnetic field molding, and is fired so as to obtain a rare earth sintered magnet comprising R, B, Al, Cu, Zr, Co, O, C and Fe, respectively satisfying, by mass, 26 to 35% R, 0.85 to 0.98 B, 0.03 to 0.25% Al, 0.01 to 0.15% Cu, 0.03 to 0.25% Zr, ≤3% (not including 0%) Co, ≤0.2% O and 0.03 to 0.15% C in the containing ratio of each element.
