PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an elevator device that includes a rare-earth-less magnet motor and also includes a hoisting machine making no increase in volume of a hoistway.
SOLUTION : An elevator device is characterized in that a skeleton part has the same width W, a sheave diameter is smaller, and a hoisting machine includes a ramp pulley 23 against which a main rope wound around the smaller-diameter sheave 5 abuts and which guides the rope to nearby the position of the main rope before the diameter reduction.
