A re-closable container comprises a tray 21 and a lid 23. The tray has at least one stiffening member 9, preferably one on each side of the tray. The lid comprises a peripheral channel 25 having at least one protrusion 31, 37a, 39 protruding into the channel and configured to hold the rim of the tray within the peripheral channel. At least one of the stiffening members on the tray may have a flange 11 folded outwardly against the adjacent wall of the tray. Each stiffening member may be secured by adhesive 13 at each of its ends to the adjacent wall of the tray, and may bow away from the wall to which it is secured. |
