A removable adhesive sheet having a pressure sensitive adhesive layer superimposed on at least one major surface of substratum, wherein the pressure sensitive adhesive layer has a loss tangent of dynamic viscoelasticity spectrum in -50° to 150°C at a frequency of 1 Hz which has an upward protrudent peak in a low temperature range of -20°C or below (a) but has a downward protrudent peak in an intermediate temperature range of 10° to 40°C (b), and wherein the loss tangent at 70°C is in the range of 0.38 to 0.57 (c). The removable adhesive sheet has excellent adherence to not only a smooth surface of adherend but also anuneven rough surface resulting from embossing, etc. Once the application of the removable adhesive sheet is completed, any bulging exfoliation, etc. of the removable adhesive sheet can be suppressed for a prolonged period of time. At the detachment of the removable adhesive sheet, fouling of the adherend by the removable adhesive sheet is less likely, so that the removable adhesive sheet finds suitable application in uses requiring removability. |
