PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electric contact hardly causing local consumption by extending the life of the electric contact for passing/closing a large electric current.SOLUTION : A contact material is prepared by adding an iron group metal and a boron oxide including Sr, Ca, rare earth element and the like to a Cu(Ag)-W(Mo) electric contact material. For example, by always exposing a lot of boron oxide particles with low work function to a contact material surface, consumption of the electric contact is uniformly caused, and the life of the electric contact can be extended without causing local consumption. Deterioration of sintering and infiltration properties due to addition of the boron oxide is compensated by the iron group metal added to the W (Mo).COPYRIGHT : (C)2014, JPO&INPIT |
