PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a liquid injection head including a piezoelectric element which is low in environmental load and in which a leakage current is suppressed.
SOLUTION : The liquid injection head, which discharges a liquid from a nozzle opening, includes a piezoelectric element comprising a piezoelectric layer and an electrode provided on the piezoelectric layer. The piezoelectric layer is made of a composite oxide having a perovskite structure in which the A site contains potassium, sodium, and a rare earth element and the B site contains niobium and at least one of iron and manganese.
