PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric composition high in voltage resistance under high temperature environment at 250°C and having high high temperature load life.
SOLUTION : There is provided a dielectric composition having a main component and a first accessory component. The main component contains oxide represented by a chemical formula Ba2.00RZrαNb3.00O13.00+α. R is a rare earth element. α is 2.05 to 2.50. A first accessory component contains oxide of V and oxide of Ca as essential components, and further oxide of Si and/or oxide of Ge. 0.50≤CV≤5.00, 3.50≤CCa≤9.00, and 7.50≤CSi+CGe≤20.00, in which content of V oxide is CV, content of Ca oxide is CCa, content of Si oxide is CSi, and content of Ge oxide is CGe.
