PURPOSE : A fence for protecting wild animals and a protection method thereof are provided to prevent a loss of lives and to save energy. CONSTITUTION : A fence for protecting wild animals prevents wild animals from breaking into a farmland. The fence (2) is formed along pillars around a farmland. A high voltage conductive line (4) and an invasion detection line (6) are installed along the pillars. The fence includes a sound output unit (21) for outputting tiger sounds, a high voltage generator for applying high voltage to the high voltage conductive line, and a detection unit which is installed in a farmland.
