PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To utilize H+ ions and OH- ions for a diesel engine and a gasoline engine since great amounts of H+ ions and OH- ions can be generated by firing mousou bamboos which abundantly exist in Japan, obtaining extractives and mixing water therewith, in a situation where stable production is difficult with the exhaust gas purification that relies on rare earth and rare metal in resource-less Japan.
SOLUTION : In a lean-air-operated engine, mixed water is produced at a capacity rate of 3-5 liters of water to 1 liter of bamboo gravel, and filled in a plastic container; the plastic container has a thickness of 4-20 mm, and a height and a length depending on the capacity of a metal case storing it; the container is 10-20 cm smaller in height and length than the metal case; the capacity of the metal case is 30-50 times the displacement of an engine; the plurality of plastic containers are stored in the metal case so that the amount of the bamboo gravel mixed water filled in the plastic containers is 15-20% of the capacity of the metal case; and the metal case is erected at its longer side, opened, and connected via a metal hose attached thereto to the intake manifold of the engine.
