PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To produce a polymer in which a conjugated diene except the conjugated diene or a non-conjugated olefin compound is added to the conjugated diene polymer to obtain a polymer material having a higher function than the conjugated diene polymer having a high cis-1, 4-bond amount.
SOLUTION : A polymerization catalyst composition is characterized by comprising a rare earth element-containing compound containing at least either of a rare earth element compound and a reaction product of a rare earth element compound with a Lewis base, at least one anion supply source selected from the group consisting of an ionic compound comprising a non-coordinating anion and a cation, aluminoxane and a halogen compound, and at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of conjugated dien monomers and non-conjugated olefins.
