PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a plug body which can be easily and reliably detached from a port of a channel and be reliably prevented from being reused; and to provide an endoscope equipped with the plug body.
SOLUTION : A forceps plug 21 comprises a substantially cylindrical plug body 26, and a moving member 27 rotatably held on the outer periphery of the plug body 26. The plug body 26 is equipped with a fixing portion 33 to be engaged with a nozzle 17 to fix the forceps plug 21. The fixing portion 33 is connected to an arm portion 34 formed integrally with the plug body 26. A ratchet mechanism is composed of an uneven surface 38 formed on the moving member 27, the fixing portion 33, and the arm portion 34. The ratchet mechanism permits the moving member 27 to move from a holding position of holding the fixing portion 33 at a fixing position to a releasing position of releasing the holding, regulates the movement from the releasing position to the holding position, and regulates the movement to a separating position at which the moving member 27 is separated from the plug body 26.
