PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a plug body which can be easily and reliably detached from a port of a channel and be reliably prevented from being reused; and to provide an endoscope equipped with the plug body.
SOLUTION : A forceps plug 21 includes a plug body 26 and a moving member 27 held in the plug body 26. An engaging claw 39 is attached to the moving member 27. The moving member 27 is configured to slide in a sliding direction perpendicular to the axial direction of a nozzle with respect to the plug body 26 from a fixing position at which the engaging claw 39 is engaged and fixed to the nozzle to a detaching position at which the claw can be detached. A ratchet mechanism comprising engagement protrusions 36, 37 formed on the plug body 26 and ratchet pieces 40, 41 formed on a second cylindrical portion 32 and the moving member 27 permits the moving member 27 to move from the fixing position to the detaching position, regulates the movement from the detaching position to the fixing position, and regulates the moving member 27 to move forward from the detaching position.
