PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a simple temperature-indicating material that contains no mercury that is poisonous metal, and contains a temperature-indicating material formed on a compound showing a color phase of red color that has not been produced before according to temperatures.
SOLUTION : A heat-sensitive material includes : a rare-earth element as a light emission center, represented by general formula [A2nBn+1C4n+2], wherein A denotes an alkaline rare earth metal and a rare-earthy element (activating element), B denotes a tetravalent metal element, C denotes a hexavalent element; a visible light responsive phosphor with a temperature dependency of fluorescent brightness in which fluorescent brightness varies according to temperatures; and a transparent resin.
