PURPOSE : A driving method of a touch panel, the touch panel, and a display device are provided to reduce a scan time by performing a rare scan, a local scan and/or the rare scan and the local scan.CONSTITUTION : A touch panel detects the rough position of a user touch by activating partial driving lines among multiple driving lines and partial sensing lines among multiple sensing lines (S110). The touch panel determines the rough position of the user touch if the touch is sensed by a rare scan (S120, S130).
