An electrode terminal for secondary batteries, which is held between polyolefin resin layers facing each other by thermal welding under pressure at a peripheral portion of a package that is configured of a multilayer sheet having at least a polyolefin resin layer on which a metal layer is laminated, in said package at least a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolyte being sealed. This electrode terminal for secondary batteries is provided with : a metal terminal that is connected to the positive electrode and/or the negative electrode; and a corrosion-resistant protective layer that is formed on the surface of the metal terminal. The corrosion-resistant protective layer has a layer (A) that contains a component (A) described below, and one or both of a layer (X) that contains a component (X) described below and a layer (Y) that contains a component (Y) described below. Component (A) : a component which is composed of (a1) a rare earth element oxide and (a2) phosphoric acid or a phosphoric acid salt that is blended in an amount of 1-100 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rare earth element oxide (a1) Component (X) : a component which is composed of (x1) an anionic polymer and (x2) a crosslinking agent for crosslinking the anionic polymer (x1) Component (Y) : a component which is composed of (y1) a cationic polymer and (y2) a crosslinking agent for crosslinking the cationic polymer (y1) |
