PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a hair cosmetic improving the defects of the conventional two bath type permanent wave, straight set and hair straightening and one bath type permanent wave, straight set and hair straightening, suppressing the damage of hair, simultaneously increasing the durability of wave and straightness, further capable of suppressing unpleasant feeling caused by mercaptan smell on operation to an operator and a subject to be operated and the unpleasant smell of hair after operation, and having improved shape deformation and feeling improvement effects.SOLUTION : A hair cosmetic includes : a first agent including one or more kinds of reducing agents selected from a group consisting of thioglycolic acid, cysteine, acetylcysteine, cysteamine, thioglycerol, thiolactic acid, butyrolactonethiol and the salts thereof, and a sulfite; and a second agent including one or more kinds of polyphenols and whose pH lies in the range of 2 to 5. The disulfide bond (-S-S-) of the keratin in hair is partially reduced and cut to be softened, and thereafter, the second agent is applied to the hair, is left to stand, and is subsequently washed away, thus the cut disulfide bond in the hair is re-bonded. |
