PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a linear motor including a magnet member which is easily manufactured without needing the adhesion of component members using an adhesive, reduces the used amount of permanent magnets without performing highly accurate processing to the permanent magnets and pole shoes, and reduces the manufacturing costs while maintaining the magnetic flux density, and to provide a manufacturing method of the magnet member.
SOLUTION : In a linear motor including a magnet member and a coil which moves relative to the magnet member, the magnet member includes a compact formed by arranging magnets along a longitudinal direction and casting the magnets with a rare earth bond magnet.
