This multiblock copolymer production method, for copolymerizing ethylene, a non-conjugated olefin compound of 3-10 carbons, and a conjugated diene compound to produce a multiblock copolymer, is characterized by including a step for copolymerizing the ethylene, the non-conjugated olefin compound, and the conjugated diene compound in the presence of a polymerization catalyst composition that includes a rare earth element compound (component (A)) represented in a prescribed formula. |
