PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric porcelain composition having high dielectric constant and excellent capacitance-temperature characteristics. SOLUTION : The main component of this dielectric porcelain composition is represented by the composition formula, (Ba1-x-yYxCay)aTiO2+a(wherein 0.002≤x≤0.010; 0.02≤y≤0.10; and 0.995≤a≤1.005). The composition includes as sub-components, based on 100 mol main component, 2-12 mol BaZrO3, 0.05-1.50 mol MnO, 0.25-1.50 mol Re2O3(wherein Re is a rare-earth element), 0.01-0.15 mol oxides of elements selected from the group consisting of V, Ta, Mo, Nb and W in terms of respective oxides or composite oxides, and 0.5-3.0 mol sintering aid.
