PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide plasma irradiation equipment capable of generating plasma with little heat generation without using a special gas such as a noble gas, and capable of plasma irradiation according to the situation of a spot desired to be sterilized.
SOLUTION : The plasma irradiation equipment includes : a plasma treatment equipment body 10 including a pulse power supply 11 which generates high voltage pulses and a blowing air source 12 which introduces outside air to blow air; a hose 20 which is connected to the body 10 to blow air from the blowing air source 12 and into which two lead wires (13a and 13b) are inserted to distribute the pulse voltage from the pulse power supply 11; and a hand-piece 30 connected to the distal end of the hose 20. The two lead wires are disposed in such a way that an electric current can be discharged between the lead wires inside the hand-piece 30, and the plasma generated from the electric discharge between the lead wires is emitted from the distal end 42 of a plasma irradiation tube 41 of the hand-piece by the air blown through the hose 20.
