The disclosed circularly polarised light emitting rare-earth complex is characterised by being formed by co-ordinating ligands having an asymetric bisoxazoline pyridine skeleton, and ligands formed from acetylacetone derivatives to rare-earth ions, and is represented by, for example, general formula (5). (In the formula : Ln (III) represents a trivalent rare-earth ion; X represents any from among a hydrogen atom, a deuterium atom, a halogen atom, a C1-C20 group, a hydroxyl group, a nitro-group, an amino group, a sulphonyl group, a cyano group, a phosphoric acid group, a diazo group, and a mercapto group, and can be the same or different; Y and Z represent an atom group required to form a five-membered aromatic heterocyclic ring; R1 and R2 each represent any from among a C1-C20 group, a hydroxyl group, a nitro-group, an amino group, a sulphonyl group, a cyano group, a phosphoric acid group, a diazo group, and a mercapto group, and can be the same or different.) |
