A method of rapidly growing a tree comprises includes obtaining a cultivating material 2 by cutting a length of a trunk or a bough from a tree (1, la) and removing twigs (3). A wound healing agent 6 is applied on an upper severed end 4 and on wounds 5 of the cultivating material. A periphery of a lower section of the cultivating material is cut to form grooves 8, a lower severed end of the cultivating material is cut to obtain an oblique face 7 and a root-growing agent 9 is applied on the periphery of the lower section and the oblique face. The lower section of the cultivating material is planted into earth and an intermediate section of the cultivating material is wrapped by a shield (13). The cultivating material is cultivated for a plurality of months in order for roots, branches and leaves to grow. A plurality of cultivating material so treated may be bundled together before being wrapped by the shield. |
