The heater plug (10) has a closed annealing tube (18) receiving an electrical conductive heating coil (12) that is made of iron- chromium-aluminum composition. The coil is embedded in filling powder (14) that contains additive of rare earth composition element. The filling powder is manufactured based on magnesium oxide, and the additive and a diffusion barrier are provided in an oxide layer and in the coil. Concentration of the additive of the rare earth element in the filling powder corresponds to concentration of used rare earth elements in heating coil material. An independent claim is also included for a method for charging an electric heatable heater plug. |
