PURPOSE : A method for manufacturing a sintered magnet using rare earth additives is provided to reduce the content of a rare earth element in the sintered magnet by diffusing the rare earth element on the surface of magnet powder. CONSTITUTION : R-Fe-B magnet powder is prepared(S110). Rare earth oxide power is pulverized into smaller than the predetermined size(S120). The rare earth oxide power is mixed with the magnet powder(S130). The mixture of the rare earth oxide power and the magnet powder are heated at the predetermined temperature. A rare earth element included in the rare earth oxide powder is diffused on the surface of the magnet powder(S140).
